The Secretary to the Constitutional Review Committee, Dr Rainer Akumperigya, has announced that the committee’s final report will be completed and ready by the end of September, 2025.
Speaking on Prime Insight on JoyPrime on Saturday, August 30, Dr Akumperigya said that work on the review process is almost complete and the draft report will be available to the public within four to five weeks.
“At the end of September, I think that we should have a draft report for the public because we have just finished. So by the next four to five weeks, we should have it,” he stated.
The Constitution Review Committee (CRC), under the directive of President John Mahama, had a nationwide series of zonal public engagements aimed at gathering citizen input on reforms to the 1992 Constitution.
The Committee also reiterated its commitment to building a Constitution that reflects the shared values and aspirations of the Ghanaian people and supports the future development of the nation.
