A section of the Kaneshie Central Market in Accra was destroyed by fire.
The fire which started during the wee hours of Sunday burnt some shops and destroyed properties running into thousands of cedis.
Although the cause of the fire is still unknown, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) were on the scene to douse the raging flames.
The source of the fire is yet to be ascertained but the traders suspect foul play.
This comes after a portion of the Kantamanto market, also in the Central Business District of Accra burnt down some days ago.

Prior to this, there have been a series of fires in public spaces across the country.
