Firefighters from the Amasaman Fire Station swiftly responded to a fire outbreak at Jabez Home Ministries on ACP Kwabenya Road, according to a statement posted on the official Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Facebook page. The distress call was received at 1:50 pm, prompting immediate action.

The fire broke out in the church auditorium on the top floor of the two-storey building and was already underway when firefighters arrived on the scene. Reinforcements from the Madina Fire Station joined the crew in tackling the blaze.

The firefighting team managed to bring the fire under control by 2:33 pm and completely extinguished it by 2:38 pm.

While the fire caused partial damage to the church auditorium and some of its contents, the team successfully prevented the flames from spreading to the lower floors of the building.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported during the incident. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.

This quick and coordinated response by GNFS highlights their commitment to safeguarding lives and property in emergency situations.
