The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), will today, Monday, September 15, take its turn at the Government Accountability Series.
The engagement forms part of a broader initiative by the government to provide citizens with a transparent account of the performance of key ministries and agencies.
The Government Accountability Series is designed to enhance openness and public trust by creating a platform where ministries present updates on the implementation of policies and programmes.

Today’s session is expected to highlight the strides made by the Foreign Affairs Ministry in advancing Ghana’s foreign policy and strengthening the country’s international relations.
Mr. Ablakwa is anticipated to outline the ministry’s key achievements, including progress in bilateral and multilateral engagements, Ghana’s role in regional and global affairs, and efforts to protect the interests of Ghanaians abroad.
The presentation is also expected to touch on challenges facing the ministry and the measures being put in place to address them.
The session will allow for constructive dialogue with stakeholders and the wider public, offering an opportunity for questions and feedback.
By fostering transparency and accountability, the government hopes to demonstrate its commitment to effective governance and reinforce citizens’ confidence in its management of the nation’s international affairs.
