Ghanaian striker Abdul Basit Adams says he is focused and determined to help his club side Free State Stars bounce back in the ABSA Premiership League after an opening day defeat.
The former New Edubiase player lasted 55 minutes on his debut for Free State Stars as they lost 4-0 to Super Sports United on the road.
"It wasn’t bad because that was my first time and since they don’t play like the way we do in Ghana I knew it wasn’t going to be easy," he told Joy Sports.
"Their philosophy is different from ours so I think I did my best and I’m coping with them now.
"Is a good experience playing along good players in a great league like the South African league."
Adams' compatriot Daniel Agyei was between the sticks in the defeat.
