Ghana Airports Company Limited has responded to a video circulating on social media involving a staff of a ground handling company operating at KIA.
The ground handling staff was seen in a video removing 10 mobile phones concealed in his socks after he been apprehended.
In a press statement from the Company, they confirmed that the grounds worker had been apprehended by the Aviation Security of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) with several phones in his possession after handling an aircraft.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
According to the GACL, the individual has been handed over to Airport District Police for interrogation and appropriate action.
