GCB Bank has welcomed Cynthia E. Ofori-Dwumfuo as its Chief Marketing Communications and Customer Experience Officer. The role brings together the bank’s customer experience, corporate affairs and marketing functions under one leadership.
According to the bank, the new portfolio is aimed at streamlining communications, improving service delivery and strengthening its relationship with customers.
Ms Ofori-Dwumfuo has nearly two decades of experience in marketing communications and corporate affairs across Africa, Europe and the United States. She previously served as Group Head of Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Customer Experience at Hollard Ghana. Her earlier career includes roles with Ogilvy Ghana and West Africa, Global Media Alliance, Now Available Africa, Vox Global in Washington DC, and the American University Washington College of Law.
She has received a number of professional recognitions, including being named CIMG Marketing Practitioner of the Year and inclusion in PRovoke Media’s Innovator 25 EMEA.
Ms Ofori-Dwumfuo currently chairs the board of the Springboard Road Show Foundation and serves on the board of the Gold Money Market Fund. She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Communication from Clemson University in the United States and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
