Cadbury Ghana, producers of Richoco has launched the fourth edition of its flagship educational program “Richoco National Essay Competition.”
This year's competition is under the theme “A Great Start To Success” to build the literacy skills of kids.
Richoco whilst providing the required energy needed to start the day, is also providing basic school pupils within Upper Primary and Junior High levels the opportunity to contribute towards national education discourse whilst winning cash prizes for themselves and schools.
The competition is open to all basic school pupils in Ghana and is Cadbury’s contribution towards the promotion of Literacy amongst basic school pupils.
To Participant:
- Essay topic: Write an essay on how you would use cocoa to improve children's well-being if you were the President of Ghana.
- The essay must be handwritten and not more than 600 words for Upper Primary and 750 words for Junior High.
- Attach either 5 empty sachets of Richoco 20g or 1 empty sachet of Richoco 400g or 1 empty sachet of Richoco 800g
- Drop off your entry at any of the vantage points pan Ghana (Please Visit the Cadbury Richoco Facebook and Instagram pages for a list of drop-off locations).
- Applicants must submit their entry along with complete contact information (School name and address, residential address, phone number and/or email address)
- The deadline for submission of entries is October 30, 2024.
- A total of GH¢100,000 in cash prizes will be shared amongst the top 34 participants in the following order:
- The top 5 essays from each category (Upper Primary and JHS will take part in the final quiz to determine who wins the grand prize from each category.
- The winners from each category will win GH¢10,000 for themselves and another GH¢10,000 for their respective schools in kind as school accessories etc.
- All remaining finalists and selected essays will each walk away with cash prizes for themselves.
