The 10th edition of the Ghana Dance Festival kicks off with the Afrolatin Congress from 29th August through to 1st September, 2024.
This comes after by a week-long pre-party at various dance clubs in Takoradi, Kumasi, and Accra.
The Afrolatin Congress presents 4 days of incredible dance experience in Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata and Afro Dance types, in the form of Workshops, Dance Parties, Performances and Tourism.
Thurday marks the Akwaaba Night, hosted by Marriot Hotel, Airport. Friday comes with a day part tourism experience, with planned visitation to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and Accra environs, and a Night Time DJs Party, to be held at Kavalli Night Club in Osu. Saturday starts with a workshop with local and international instructors during the day, and the Grand Finale at night featurng amazing performances from the industry's best. On Sunday, the event comes to a close with a Poolside jam at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
Confirmed guests attending the event are Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale and Accra. From international community, Benin, Togo, Nigeria, Cote D'Ivoire and South Africa.
According Robert Klah, CEO of Dancetera, "this is edition of the festival is the 10th edition. It's been tough, it's been convoluted and very daunting. But the only reason why I have come this far with this project, is because of colleagues, friends, family and God. Without you, there is no Ghana Dance Festival."
