Ghana held their first training session in Istanbul, Monday evening without Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
The striker and four other players were absent as Kwesi Appiah trained with 14 players ahead of Wednesday's friendly with Turkey.
Gyan and the quartet of Rabiu Mohammed, Rashid Sumaila, Mohammed Awal and goalkeeper Fatau Dauda are expected to join the group Tuesday morning.
Ghana's squad suffered two withdrawals before the team's first training session in Turkey as Albert Adomah and Emmanuel Banahene were pulled out due to varying reasons.
