Ghana has recorded an increase of 125 new coronavirus infections, the Ghana Health Service has reported.
The total of the country’s cases now stands at 6,808.
Thirteen of the new cases are from the Ashanti Region, seven from the Central Region, 67 from the Western Region and 38 from the Greater Accra Region.
Greater Accra remains the epicentre for coronavirus in Ghana with 4,836 cases.
The number of affected Regions stands at 14 with the Ahafo and Bono East Regions yet to register a case.
According to the Service, 72 more people have recovered taking the total number of recoveries to 2,070.
No new death has been recorded.
