The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has disclosed that 397 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the country’s total to 12,590.
According to the Service, eight more people have succumbed to the disease after contracting it which takes the number of deaths recorded to 66.
Currently, Ghana’s active cases stand at 8, 114. Also, 4, 410 people have recovered from the virus.
Meanwhile, 13 people are critically ill while four others have been placed on ventilators.
Providing more detail on the new death cases, the Service disclosed that all but three had underlying health conditions.
Also two were from the Greater Accra region and six from the Ashanti region.
