Dr. Gideon Boako, the Spokesperson for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for the Tano North Constituency, has donated a motorbike to the Tano North Local Council of Churches.
The donation took place following a peace walk and talk organised by the council at Duayaw Nkwanta on Saturday, 16th November.
The event, which aimed to promote peace and unity ahead of the 2024 elections, saw the participation of various community members, church leaders, and political figures.
Dr. Boako's gesture was well received by the council, who expressed their gratitude for his support and engagement with local religious leaders.
Explaining the reason behind the donation, Dr. Boako stated that the motorbike would assist the Tano North Local Council of Churches in effectively carrying out their activities throughout the constituency.
