A call has been issued to believers around the world to unite in prayer as the Global Prayer Army prepares to host “Stand in the Gap 2026”, a 72-hour nonstop prayer assembly aimed at seeking spiritual revival and divine intervention.
The prayer marathon is scheduled to take place from July 9 to July 12, 2026, beginning at 6:00pm at The Prayer Factory, Empowerment Worship Centre (EWC), Dzorwulu, Accra.
Organisers describe the gathering not as a conference or concert, but as a spiritual movement focused on prayer, restoration and revival.
Under the prophetic leadership of the Global Lead Pastor of Empowerment Worship Centre, **Prophet Gideon Danso**, the assembly will be held under the theme **“Revive Thy Works”**, bringing together believers and ministers from Ghana and beyond.
“We refuse to remain silent while the world spirals. We refuse to wait passively for change. It is time to prepare, position, and pray,” Prophet Gideon Danso said.
According to organisers, the 72-hour prayer marathon is intended to create an atmosphere for believers to seek God, confront spiritual challenges and pray for restoration across nations.
The event will feature worship and ministry sessions from a lineup of renowned ministers, including:
* Prophet Gideon Danso – Host (Ghana)
* Pastor William McDowell (USA)
* Sunmisola Agbebi (Nigeria)
* Joe Mettle (Ghana)
* Nathaniel Bassey (Nigeria)
* Victoria Orenze (Nigeria)
* Apostle Doku Ben (Ghana)
* Pastor John Hannah (USA)
* Rev. Robert Ampiah Kwofi (Ghana)
* Uncle Ato (Ghana)
* Dave Bell
* PMKT Jubilee
* EWC Live (Ghana)
The organisers stressed that the central message of the gathering is a commitment to sustained prayer, declaring: **“Once we start, we don’t stop.”**
They are inviting individuals seeking spiritual renewal and a deeper encounter with God to participate in the prayer movement.
“We are standing until revival comes. We are standing until restoration is complete. Your presence is your assignment. The time to act is now,” Prophet Gideon Danso stated.
The **Stand in the Gap 2026 – 72 Hours Nonstop Prayer** will run from **July 9–12, 2026**, at **The Prayer Factory, EWC, Dzorwulu, Accra**, under the theme **“Revive Thy Works.”**
Organisers are encouraging participants to come prepared, expectant and ready to engage in what they describe as a historic moment of prayer and revival.
