Goil Plc is deeply saddened by the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight distinguished Ghanaians.
Among the victims were Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment
Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna, NDC Vice-Chairman Samuel Sarpong, former parliamentary candidate Samuel Aboagye, and three dedicated military officers: Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
These were dedicated men of purpose and indeed of distinction, men whose contributions to national development, peace and security had been self-evident in their leadership. Their sudden loss is a profound tragedy that has touched GOIL PLC and every Ghanaian.
GOIL PLC expresses its deepest sympathies to the friends, families, the Government of Ghana, and the Ghana Armed Forces for this tragedy during this period of national mourning. Our nation grieves for these fallen heroes, and we celebrate their legacy of service, sacrifice, and patriotism.
We stand with all Ghanaians in prayer, seeking comfort and strength for the bereaved families and the institutions affected by this tragic loss.
May their souls rest in perfect peace.
