Kumasi Asante Kotoko must prove their critics wrong after struggling to beat RTU last week by 2-1, Kotoko will be at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday, to cement a winning strategy which must be sustained for the rest of the season when they host former CAF champions league campaigners Berekum Chelsea.
The two sides will command a lot of tactical discipline for each other due to their stature and the quality of players each team commands in the league. However, Kotoko will be on a pay-back mission as they look to overturn the 0-2 defeat at the hands of Chelsea in the first round.
Attention will also be tilted to another crunchy encounter as Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars come face to face at the Anane Boateng Stadium in Dormaa-Ahenkro, while King Faisal travel to play RTU at the Tamale Stadium who have already been tagged relegation bound.
Yakubu Moro's Arsenal will host current league leaders Medeama Sporting Club at the Golden City Park in Berekum, and at the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman, Liberty Professionals encounter Wa All Stars.
Ashgold welcome New Edubiase to the Len Clay Stadium whiles Ebusua Dwarfs trek to the Tema Park to play Amidaus Professionals.
Meanwhile the game between Heart of Lions host Tema Youth at the Kpando Park has been postponed, both sides were originally scheduled to have played on Wednesday. But a new date will be fixed for the game after Tema Youth requested for a rescheduling of the match following their contribution of five players to the men's U-20 national team, the Black Satellites participating in the African Youth Championship in Algeria.
