ALL STARS 1-0 KOTOKO
All Stars moved to the top of the league for at least 24 hours as they clinched a 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko. An early strike from striker Richard Arthur fetched the Wa side their first win in four matches to end Kotoko’s four game winning streak. Arthur’s goal was the first Kotoko conceded away from home under Michael Osei and brought to an end their fine run. Striker Dauda Mohammed returned for the Porcupine Warriors but the defensive setup of All Stars kept him quiet for large portions of the game. The result leaves Kotoko in 4th and could go 5 points behind rivals Hearts should they beat Liberty.

The Dormaa side were looking to go on top of the table and took the lead on the stroke of half time as Richard Mpong converted a cross from Yahaya. Bright Lukman came off the bench to equalise or Dwarfs and with the game heading for a stalemate, Nicholas Gyan popped up with the winner to hand Dwarfs their first win since matchday 8 and their first under new coach Prosper Nartey.

Saddick Adams got the consolation from the spot bagging his 7th goal of the season. Adams, who has been heavily linked with joining Hearts of Oak was watched by Board member of the club Alhaji Akanbi.

MEDEAMA 3-2 WAFA
The game at Tarkwa proved to be one of the classic games this season as the guests raced into a 2 goal lead. Captain Martin Antwi and new signing Komlana Agbegniandan put WAFA infront but Daniel Amoah and Bernard Ofori equalised in quick succession to leave the score 2-2 at halftime. The second half was a pale shadow of the first half with no goals and with the game heading for a draw, FA Cup MVP Kwasi Donsu converted a free kick in the 92nd minute to earn Medeama all three points.

TECHIMAN CITY 1-1 ASHANTIGOLD
Ashantigold recorded their 9th draw of the season after being pegged late in the game at Techiman. Mumuni Shafiu gave the Miners a dream start heading home Tijani Joshua’s cross under 5 minutes.
