Liberty Professionals moved to fourth in the Ghana Premier League after beating New Edubiase 2-0 in Dansoman in a delayed fixture.
Attacker Ebo Mends opened the scoring just before the half-time after Liberty had missed a flurry of chances.
In-form Bernard Arthur added the second also on the stroke of full time to give Liberty their second straight win at Dansoman.
Liberty are level on points with third placed Asante Kotoko but are behind them by virtue of an inferior head to head.
Edubiase are in the bottom three with only 12 points from 13 games.
