His team did not win on Wednesday, but Sadick Adams did himself a favour by scoring in Tema.
Inter Allies finished 3-1 winners, but the Berekum Chelsea forward and captain got his team's only goal. Fredrick Boateng of Allies had struck twice, while youngster Edward Adjaklo got the other.
Sadick now has seven goals this season, two behind top scorers Latif Blessing and Yahaya Mohammed. The Aduana man failed to score on Wednesday but the Liberty forward plays on Thursday.
This was Adams’ second away goal following a strike against Sekondi Hasaacas. He also has two assists this season.
Of interest is the fact that Adams, who has been the subject of intense scrutiny following seeming overtures from Hearts, was watched at the Tema Park by Phobian board member Alhaji Akanbi Braimah.
The other player on seven goals in Eric Bekoe of Hasaacas. Dreams FC’s Lawson Bekui has six, while Samuel Tetteh of WAFA, Wa All Stars' Richard Arthur and Hearts' Cosmos Dauda have five apiece.
