Inter Allies held WAFA SC to a goalless stalemate at the WAFA Stadium in Sogakope in the match day 11 fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The ‘Eleven Is To One’ played out a very solid match with top defensive display, denying the home side chances.
Sulley Mohammed was handed his first start this season in one of the changes made from the previous game against Techiman City in Tema.
Wahab Ackwei sat in front of the defenders with Emmanuel Nettey pairing with Kingsley Nnamdi in the heart of defence.
The home side made their intentions known quickly after the referee whistled for the game to kickoff.
However, Inter Allies were also quick to respond to their threats as the ‘Eleven Is To One’ also attacked, firing all cylinders.
Despite both sides enjoying good share of possession, they failed to find the back back with the entertaining game ending in a draw.
This result means, Inter Allies lie 15th on the league with a point gained to 10 points.
Inter Allies XI: Osei Kwame, Siimon Martey, Ibrahim Alhassan, Kingsley Nnamdi, Emmanuel Nettey, Wahab Ackwei, Frederick Boateng, Isaac Twum, Prince Baffoe, Sulley Mohammed & Evans Mensah.
