The Ghana Real Estate Professionals Association (GREPA) has formally installed its 2026–2028 Executive Board, marking a significant leadership transition and reaffirming the Association’s commitment to ethical compliance, sustainability, and global market integration within Ghana’s real estate industry.
The installation ceremony, held on December 12 at The Hive, ICGC Christ Temple (Tse Addo) in Accra, brought together real estate practitioners, regulators, government officials, and key industry stakeholders to outline a forward-looking agenda for the sector.
As part of the proceedings, GREPA Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Victoria Osei Sampah, delivered the official charge to the new Executive Board, urging members to lead with integrity, unity, and accountability. She stressed the importance of strict adherence to GREPA’s Constitution and Bylaws, respect for regulatory frameworks, and the responsibility of leadership to deepen public trust in the real estate profession.

She further called on the executives to uphold the REALTOR® brand, actively support professional licensing under the Real Estate Agency Council (REAC), and strengthen collaboration with regulators and industry partners to raise standards across the sector.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the pinning of REALTOR International members, recognising GREPA professionals who have attained international REALTOR status. The moment symbolised their commitment to global ethical standards, professionalism, and best practices, while reinforcing GREPA’s role as a critical link between Ghana’s real estate market and the global REALTOR community.
Delivering the keynote address, Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, urged industry players to embrace green building and sustainability as core pillars of Ghana’s real estate development agenda. She emphasised that environmentally responsible construction is critical to safeguarding Ghana’s urban future and improving long-term housing outcomes.
Also addressing the gathering, Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Agency Council (REAC), Mr. Emmanuel Jeffrey, reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to enforcing the Real Estate Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1047). He highlighted ongoing collaboration with the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) aimed at improving transparency, curbing unlicensed practice, and strengthening accountability within the industry.

In her farewell remarks, outgoing GREPA President Ms. Odette Nyame Kumi outlined key achievements during her tenure, including governance reforms, strengthened ethical standards, enhanced support for REAC licensing under Act 1047, expanded member engagement, and the rollout of education programmes and conferences. She also pointed to GREPA’s growing international visibility through Multiple Listing Service (MLS) platforms, describing her tenure as one focused on building strong institutional foundations for long-term credibility and impact.
Speaking on behalf of the newly installed Executive Board, 2026–2028 President, Mr. Kofi Adabor Ofori Amanfo, pledged to prioritise ethical governance, deepen engagement with regulators, and promote sustainable real estate development throughout his tenure. He encouraged members to fully leverage GREPA’s MLS platforms, which syndicate Ghanaian property listings to international markets through realtor.com, expanding global visibility and investment opportunities for compliant professionals.
Mr. Amanfo stressed that access to GREPA’s MLS platforms remains exclusive to members in good standing, underscoring the Association’s commitment to professionalism, data integrity, and international best practices.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed call for stronger public–private collaboration to protect consumers, strengthen regulatory compliance, and position Ghana’s real estate industry for sustainable growth and global competitiveness.
