The Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) has asked 240 candidates shortlisted for the position of Director and Analogous grades to pay an amount of GH₵6,000 each.
The payment is in respect of a three-day high level residential refresher training workshop to prepare the officers for an impending interview.
In a letter to the candidates, the OHLGS said the amount will be used to cater for the training materials, accommodation, feeding as well as the administrative cost of the interview.
“The deadline for the payment of the registration fee is Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Candidates would be required to produce a copy of the pay-in-slip at the training venue,” portions of the letter noted.

The OHLGS expects payments to be made to the Legon Main Absa Bank branch in the account name, Local Government Service.
The letter added that the date and venue for the interviews would be communicated in due course.
