Accra Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson has charged his side to avoid complacency following their fine form in the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians maintained their position at the summit of the table with 38 points after a 1-1 draw with rivals Asante Kotoko last Sunday.
Hearts are yet to lose a game away from home in this season’s league- this for many fans and enthusiasts, pave the way for them to win the league with nine matches to end.
But Frank Nelson who doubles as a member of the Strategy Committee wants the players to keep their focus.
“Well it is all about focus and understanding why you are in the business and I believe the boys must understand that,” he told Joy Sports
“For the past eight years we have not seen the league trophy and for the players now this is the task ahead."
“They are doing very well but I will entreat them to keep their focus and avoid complacency so they can make history.”
The last time Accra Hearts of Oak won the league title was in 2008.
