Information reaching Joy Sports says Hearts of Oak are set to complete the signing of two key players in a bid to end their 7 year wait for a league title.
The Phobians are on the verge of signing striker Saddick Adams after an initial bid was rejected. The former Ghana youth international who has scored 7 goals so far, has agreed a two year deal with Hearts as the club sees him as a perfect addition to their squad.
Hearts are lightweight in attack with the club having the rely solely on Sam Yeboah and Cosmos Dauda upfront. Togolese Foovi Aguidi has been a pale shadow of himself while Ibrahim Musah has been a bit part player.
Hearts have also agreed personal terms with Medeama deep lying playmaker Malik Akowuah. The Medeama midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Accra giants as he contract with the Tarkwa side is set to expire next month.
Hearts have relied on Mustapha Essuman and Sarbah Laryea in midfield for large portions of the season with Ashittey Ollenu getting a run recently.
The inclusion of Akowuah will add more control to the Hearts midfield as the Phobians prepare for the second half of the season.
