Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has dismissed claims that he is "hiding" the Black Stars' budget for March's World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
During February’s State of the Nation Address, President Mahama signaled an end to the era of “secrecy” surrounding government expenditure on national teams.
His Excellency further tasked the Sports Ministry with holding the FA accountable for the two qualifying matches.
It has now been 22 days, since the games were played, with no public announcement from the Ministry.
"You will know it when the time comes," Kofi told Channel One News.
"I’m saying that I will make it public. Has the National Team ceased playing?
"We have the next assignment in September; we have matches that we’re going to play and we will surely make it public. It will be unfair to make a draft budget public, I’m not hiding it."
Ghana will face Chad and Mali in September in the next round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Otto Addo's side currently sit top of Group I with 15 points, three clear of second-placed Comoros.
