Shatta Wale says he did not order any security personnel to go for his former militant and friend Joint77’s car after his interview on Hitz FM.
This statement comes after the dancehall artiste had asked Joint77 to return the Toyota Camry he had gifted him during an altercation on Daybreak Hitz.
Immediately after the interview, some security personnel went to retrieve the car at the premises of The Multimedia Group.
Many people had assumed Shatta Wale had asked for the car to be taken because of how angry he had been.
However, speaking on Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM, the Dancehall artiste said his brother had rather called for the car to be seized from Joint77.
He stated that after the altercation with Joint77, his brother had been angry about some utterance the former militant had made including denying statements Shatta Wale said.
“I didn’t send anybody to go for the car…my big brother was so angry and before I realised he was there,” Shatta Wale said.
The singer added that because some people had no idea what was going on they tried to paint him black.
Shatta Wale said that he, however, has no issue with his brother recalling the car from Joint77.
He stated that he feels his brother was trying to protect him and have his back.
