Singer Ruger has reacted to the alleged rift between him and his senior colleague, Davido.
Davido’s fans have repeatedly accused Ruger of beefing with him and taking sides in his rivalry with Wizkid, after he publicly expressed his admiration for the latter and his fans.
A fan of Davido on X recently claimed that Ruger’s career would be stagnant until he publicly apologises to the DMW boss.
“When you’re ready, apologise and beg Davido publicly, your song will enter No. 1,” he fan wrote.
Responding, Ruger asked, “And did Davido tell you I did anything wrong to him?”
In another post, Ruger explained that he has no issue with Davido and he believes that he is cool with him, too.
He emphasised that he would never believe that Davido is beefing with him until he said it to his face or publicly.
“I love Davido and I know he loves me too. People on his team still repost my sh*t. I will never believe this agenda that he doesn’t f*ck with me except he says it to my face or publicly. But if him talk am, everywhere go first blur Sha,” he wrote.
