Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says he is looking to 'grow' as a player following his move to Championship side Leicester City.
The 19-year-old was officially unveiled on Thursday morning after completing his medical earlier this week. He joins the club on a season-long loan deal from Sporting CP subject to league and international clearance.
Issahaku has failed to nail down a place in Sporting's first team since his debut in August last year and has spent the majority of his time with the club's second team.
Of course, 🇬🇭 Abdul Fatawu Issahaku had to dance in his unveiling video 😂🕺

Speaking in his first interview after sealing the move to Leicester, the left-footed winger says he hopes to mature.
"I’m so happy. This is an amazing moment for me, I’m happy to be here. For me, from looking at Leicester and how I felt about the coach, here is the best place for me," he said.
Ghanaians have been pushing for 🇬🇭 Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s game to grow since he burst onto the scene.

The player says he is hoping Leicester City will hand him that opportunity.

"This was the best moment for me to join Leicester. I chose them because I think they can grow me and help me mature. [Enzo Maresca] told me about the plans he has for me and how he wants me to play – how he wants to help me in my football."
He was part of the Black Stars squad at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Issahaku was also with the Black Meteors in Morocco for the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.
With his arrival at Leicester, he becomes the latest to join the club after Daniel Amartey, Jeffery Schlupp, Kamal Sowah and Nathan Opoku in recent times.
