A new initiative, IGNITE Ghana, has been launched with a focus on promoting artificial intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship and Ghanaian-made products while equipping young people with skills to take advantage of emerging opportunities.

The initiative also introduced Brainify AI, a 24-hour application designed to support children’s learning and engagement through AI-powered tools.

Founder of Brainify AI, Pathman Senata Raji, highlighted the potential of the platform to introduce children to new ways of learning while harnessing technology to support the development of young minds.

Organisers say the broader IGNITE Ghana initiative will focus on developing intellectual skills, promoting ethical business practices and providing young people with practical knowledge in entrepreneurship and AI.

Media personality and entrepreneur Nathan Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, has joined the initiative as its Africa partner.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Adisi said technology could be deployed not only to drive innovation but also to develop people and create new opportunities.

The initiative comes at a time when AI is increasingly influencing education, employment and business, although access to the skills required to effectively use the technology remains a challenge for many young people.

Beyond AI and entrepreneurship, IGNITE Ghana is also seeking to create opportunities for local enterprises by promoting Ghanaian-made products and connecting innovation with business development.

Products showcased at the launch included Sanarey wellness products, highlighting the range of local businesses and partnerships being brought together under the platform.

Organisers say the objective is to create an environment where young people and Ghanaian businesses can use innovation and technology to build sustainable opportunities.

With AI becoming increasingly integrated into everyday life and business, IGNITE Ghana says it wants to position young people and local enterprises to participate more meaningfully in Ghana’s emerging digital economy.
