Joy Sports understands that Fifa have cancelled the proposed international friendly duel between Nigeria's Super Eagles and the Black Stars of Ghana.
The game was slated to be played later in March in London.
But Fifa say the game cannot go on because Nigeria's schedule contravenes its rules. The Super Eagles have planned to play Bolivia on March 26 in Uyo, before taking on Ghana on March 29.
Sources at the Ghana FA now tell Joy Sports' that it is considering proposals from other nations.
Nigeria were looking to play a tough opposition as they plot a comeback into the big time, fowlloign their failure to qualify for the recently-ended Africa Cup.
The Black Stars finished second in Equatorial Guinea after losing 9-8 on penalties to Ivory Coast.
