Black Stars forward Inaki Williams continued his scoring form over the weekend as Athletic Bilbao earned bragging rights over Real Sociedad.
Having struggled in 23 games after his last goal in October 2022, Inaki has found his scoring boots again, netting four goals in his last three games.
The 28-year-old found the back twice in the league win over Real Sociedad on Saturday as Athletic Bilbao secured a 2-0 win in the Basque derby.
Inaki opened the scoring in the 33rd minute of the game to give Ernesto Valverde's side the lead before finishing off a Raul Garcia's pass in the second half to double the lead and put the game beyond the reach of Sociedad.
The forward has now been directly involved in 10 goals in the league, scoring eight times and providing two assists in 25 starts.
The win sees Athletic Club move to seventh position on the league table after 43 points from 29 games in the Spanish La Liga.
