The Ghana Institution of Surveyors has appealed for speedy investigations into the disappearance of one of its members, a staff at the Lands Commission office in Kumasi.
Rhodaline Amoah-Darko, Treasurer of the Ashanti Regional chapter of the Institution, has been missing since August 30.
Her husband, Dr Wilberforce Aggrey, a lecturer at KNUST, accused of her kidnapping, has been on trial at the Asokwa District Court.
The court on Friday adjourned the hearing to December 24, 2021.
Conspicuously missing in court today was the accused, Dr Wilberforce Aggrey, but his legal team was in court.
The prosecution prayed the court presided by His Worship Korkor Achaw Owusu to adjourn the hearing to enable Attorney General’s office who promised at earlier sitting to take over prosecutorial duties at the court.
But the Ghana Institution of Surveyors is not happy with the adjournments.

Disappointed National President, Dr John Amaglo, who was in court with members of the Institution tells journalists the group wants speedy investigations.
“You can see from my face I am disappointed; I am sad also that this case is prolonging. But we are following the proceedings keenly . Therefore, I only plead that the investigations should be expedited.”
According to Dr Amaglo, the institution expects nothing but expedited investigations into the disappearance of Mrs Rhodaline Amoah-Darko.
“We missed our sister Rhoda and we are keenly following the proceedings. I will only plead with authorities to expedite action on the investigations so that whatever the issues are, the perpetrators would be brought to book.”
The court has adjourned hearing to December 24, 2021.
