Inter Allies have appointed Prince Owusu as coach for the upcoming 2016/17 season.
The trainer replaces Jimmy Cobblah after he left the Tema side at the end of the season. Prince Owusu was in charge of Medeama last season but left with few games to end the campaign.
A statement on the club's website confirmed the move:
The Management of Inter Allies FC is happy to announce the signing of Prince Owusu as the new Head Coach of the Club.
Prince Owusu is a vastly experienced home-grown product, whose coaching CV includes coaching and guiding a lot of clubs to success and will be an added Technical and experienced brain.
Vice President of the club Delali Eric Senaye: “I’m happy about the technical abilities and experience of Coach Prince, he has an outstanding track record and is respected across the industry.
Coach Prince is a hugely passionate personality and has a wealth of experience he can bring to his new role at the ‘Eleven Is To One.’ We (Inter Allies) are happy to have him in our family.”
Coach Prince will be officially introduced to the players on Monday, 7th November when they resume for training for the upcoming season.
Prince Owusu becomes the third head coach to begin the season with the club in three seasons. Herbert Addo was in charge in 2015/16 and before him was Paa Kwesi Fabin.
