Inter Allies Coach Jimmy Cobblah has expressed delight at his side’s victory over Berekum Chelsea in a Ghana Premier League match day-14 fixture on Wednesday.
The Tema-based side recorded their third win of the season after posting an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Tema Park.
A brace from striker Fredrick Boateng and another from Edward Adjaglo was enough to hand the home team a win after eight matches.
The win happens to be the first for coach Cobblah who took over from vetran trainer Herbert Addo.
“We needed to win this game and we did just, it has released the pressure on us but I think I need to build on this performance to record good results in our subsequent matches,” he told press after the game.
“At this point in time the League becomes tougher so you need to take advantage of your home matches’ but personally I am very excited with this victory and the way my boys played today.”
Inter-Allies are now 14th on the League table with 14 points and will now face Sekondi Hasaacas in their next game.
