Star actress, Jackie Appiah has officially presented a year’s worth of scholarship to two finalists in the just ended maiden edition of TV3’s Talented Kids. The actress made a promise during the finale to give an educational sponsorship to the two talented kids, both huge fans of Jackie.
Jackie first stopped at the Ebenezer Methodist School at Madina where Talented Kids finalist Cassandra Susuasey is a pupil. She was met by an overwhelming crowd of students, who would not allow the star to move freely without shaking her hands. Jackie paid an amount of GHS 321 as tuition fees covering a period of one year; studies fee, as well as money to buy stationary.
Next, Jackie moved to the Fountain School in Alago, where she made another presentation to another finalist, Jephta. Jephta also received an amount of GHS386 to cover his tuition fees for one year, and extra amount for studies and stationary. Jephta’s Dad appeared overwhelmed and thanked Jackie for her kindness.
That was not all from the affable screen star; all ten finalists of the kids show also benefitted from Jackie’s generosity by taking a hamper each for a good job done.
Organizers of the show have thanked the actress for adding more colour to the show.
