The NDC parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency John Dumelo has given out laptops to students residing in the area.
In a video posted on his social media pages, John Dumelo is seen handing out HP Laptops to different students across the constituency.
According to him, this is in fulfilment of his promise to give out over 4,000 laptops to tertiary students who live in the constituency.
Benefeciaries included a visually impaired student at the University of Ghana, a distance learning students, a student from the University of Development Studies and many others.
The beneficiaries expressed their joy and surprise at the gesture, saying it will go a long way to help them in their studies.
"I never thought you will bring it. I thought you have forgotten about me… I want to say God bless you and thank you," said one visibly elated student.
Captioning the post on Instagram, John Dumelo stated that he is determined to promote education and facilitate learning among the youth.
