The Founder of the Royal House Chapel International, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, has commended Joy FM and the Multimedia Group for giving him the platform that amplified his voice across Ghana and beyond, playing a defining role in the growth of his ministry.
He made these remarks while addressing the management and staff of the Multimedia Group at the company’s thanksgiving service organised to usher in the year 2026.

In a reflective address, the renowned cleric recalled the early days of the Multimedia Group, describing himself as a founding member who witnessed the organisation’s humble beginnings.
“I am a founding member of this group. We used to have only one FM station and a small office,” Apostle General Ankrah said. “I remember coming there at dawn after sleepless nights to release the word of God.”

He paid special tribute to the Chief Executive Officer of the Multimedia Group, Mr Kwasi Twum, for believing in him and offering him the opportunity to reach a national audience at a time when his ministry was still relatively unknown.

“Kwasi, thank you for giving me the opportunity so that my voice would be heard in this nation and beyond,” he stated. “Without you, nobody would have known Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah. I would have been hiding in my father’s village.”

According to him, the exposure he received through Joy FM and later Joy TV (JoyNews) transformed his life and ministry, elevating him from obscurity to becoming a celebrated spiritual father in Ghana and internationally.

“But Joy FM and Joy TV gave me the exposure and the voice,” he emphasised. “Today, I am celebrated as a father.”

The Thanksgiving service formed part of activities to begin the 2026 working year at the Multimedia Group, bringing together staff, management and guests to reflect, pray and give thanks for the organisation’s journey and impact.

Apostle General Ankrah attributed both his success and the growth of the Multimedia Group to God’s grace.
“We give God the glory,” he said, to loud applause from the audience.

The Multimedia Group, operators of Joy FM, Joy News, Joy Prime, Asempa FM, Hitz FM, Luv FM, Myjoyonline and Adomonline, is widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most influential media organisations, noted for providing platforms that have shaped national discourse and amplified diverse voices over the years.
