Joy FM’s much-anticipated 90s Jam lit up Pleasant Gardens in Dzorwulu on Friday night, delivering an electrifying celebration of rhythm, nostalgia, and timeless music.
The event, which kicked off at 8:00 p.m., drew music lovers dressed in colourful 90s regalia, instantly transforming the venue into a throwback paradise.
The icing on the cake was MP for Ofoase-Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, a former staff member of Joy FM, who appeared as a guest DJ for the night.

From baggy jeans and crop tops to retro jerseys and classic sneakers, patrons fully embraced the theme, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Throughout the night, the crowd was treated to a rich selection of classic R&B, hip hop, highlife, hiplife, pop rap, and dancehall anthems that defined a generation.

The carefully curated playlist kept revellers on their feet, singing along and reliving memories tied to the golden era of music.

The energy at Pleasant Gardens remained high as DJs seamlessly blended old-school favourites, creating a nonstop party that resonated with both long-time fans of 90s music and younger patrons experiencing the era’s sound for the first time.

By the time the event drew to a close, it was clear that Joy FM’s 90s Jam had once again lived up to expectations, offering an unforgettable night of music, style, and shared memories, proving that the 90s sound remains as powerful and timeless as ever.
