Joy News, in collaboration with Imani Africa, will Wednesday, September 26, 2018 hold a public forum on Ghana’s digital migration project.
Dubbed “Unpacking Ghana’s Dance with China’s Media Dragons: the Curious Case of StarTimes,” comes off at the Coconut Groove Hotel at 9:30 am.
Ahead of the forum, President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, says he is hopeful the discussions will settle all contentious issues surrounding government’s agreement with the Chinese satellite TV firm.

Government is reeling under public backlash for granting tax waiver to StarTimes for the execution of a satellite distribution contract.
Stakeholders argue that the deal creates an unequal playing field for local players.
