Nurses at the Kaneshie Poly Clinic here in Accra are now heaving a sigh of relief, as water has started running through the taps after the facility had gone without water for weeks.
This comes after JOYNEWS broke the story on Friday that midwives there were struggling to clean the mess, after successfully assisting a woman to deliver.
Taps had not been running for weeks and there was inadequate water for their work.
Authorities now feel relieved to see water running through the taps again.
Senior midwife at the Kaneshie Poly Clinic, Sarah Aboagye Mensah told Joy News' Beatrice Adu who visited the facility Saturday morning that, they will no longer be scared of having infections which used to be the case when the tap was not running.
