The 13-member stakeholders’ delegation in Brazil has held a crunch meeting with the architect designing the Kejetia-Central Market project.
The meeting is aimed at seeking clarifications on the technical structure of the market.
The members including representatives of the traders are expected to make the necessary inputs into the design to suit the Ghanaian taste.
Head of Architect for the company, Kennedy Vianna in a presentation says his outfit has considered the appropriate design to suit the atmospheric conditions in Ghana.
He says a lot of consultation were made with other renowned local architects in Ghana, including the former Dean of Architectural Department from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Dr. Benjamin Terkey.
Mr. Kennedy Vianna said the company, ARKTETO has completed all the needed visibility studies and are convinced it will complete the project as scheduled.
NPP MP for Manhyia South Constituency, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh called on the company to consider involving architectural students from Kumasi Polytechnic and KNUST.
The delegation is expected to visit one of the biggest supermarkets in the cities of Brazil design by the company.
