Joey B, La Meme Gang, Kelvyn Boy and Tulenkey Recently, thrilled their fans with dance moves and performances at the launch of Unilever’s Closeup Complete Fresh Protection toothpaste variant at Laboma Beach in Accra.
The event, dubbed ‘Rumble 5’, represented the five unique benefits of the newly launched product; deep cleaning, fresh breath, cavity protection, strong teeth, and protection from germs.
Closeup Complete Fresh Protection is a fluoride gel made with an active herbal ingredient, known as eucalyptus mint which prevents cavities and freshens breath.
Eucalyptus mint dates back to ancient history in the year 164 when Abel Janszoon Tasman explored Tasmania, an island of Australia and discovered the amazing tree.
‘Rumble 5’ was characterised by fun beach games, electrifying performances, and explosive music held down by DJ Vyrusky.
The crowd went agog when Kojo Manuel mounted the stage with his usual ‘vibely’ MC performance. He got patrons gyrating and singing in unison with some hit songs of the season.
Also in attendance was media personality Giovanni Caleb, who eventually showered multiple packs of the product to the audience.
TikTok stars Wesley Kesse, Portia Wekia, and a couple of others also showed up. Many bloggers and journalists also passed through to catch the vibe.
The free-to-enter event ate deep into the night with a charged crescendo as various performers came through to give the audience a show to remember. Finger foods, snacks, and drinks were made available to the patrons who partied till late.
Those who participated in some of the activities were rewarded with hampers of the product
Those who were present at ‘Rumble 5’ expressed excitement at the new product from Unilever and promised to not only talk about it to their friends and family but put it on their next shopping list.
Joel Boateng, the Oral Care Category Manager at Unilever Ghana also encouraged consumers to stick to oral habits that promote good oral health.
