Aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has donated some medical logistics to the Ho Teaching Hospital in the Volta Region.
The items included electric wheelchairs, hospital beds, and medical consumables among others, aimed at enhancing care delivery at the health facility.
Mr. Agyapong and his team made the donation during his campaign tour of the Volta Region, targeted at wooing delegates to elect him to lead the NPP into the 2028 general elections.
He explained that he decided to undertake donations to the regional hospitals across the country upon learning of how handicapped health facilities were after visiting an injured supporter.

“We’re here in the region to sell our message to delegates. One experience that has motivated me to come this morning is, a month ago we were in Drobo and on our way coming, the gentleman who spoke had an accident and was rushed to Drobo Hospital and what I saw there made me realise that we need to help all the hospitals in the country.”
“Not only Korle Bu, Akomfo Anokye, and 37. Because what we experienced over there clearly indicates that every hospital in the country needs help. So I’ve decided that wherever I will go, at least the Regional Hospitals, I will give my widows might to assist””, he said.

In addition, Mr Agyapong supported a fire accident victim on admission at the Ho teaching Hospital with Gh₵30,000 to take care of the medical bills.
The management of the Ho Teaching Hospital appreciated the gesture by Mr Agyapong and his team and blessed him, wishing him the best in his life endeavors.
