The Assin Central Member of Parliament has been panned this week for some unsavoury comments he made against the Electoral Commission Chair, Charlotte Osei.
It emerged on Monday, that Adom News Editor Afia Pokua and two reporters had won a case against the National Health Insurance Scheme.

Also, the Electoral Commission said it had no difficulties in compiling the names of NHIS carders on the voter's register.
On Tuesday, a sex-for-job allegations made by Assin North Member of Parliament, Ken Agyapong’s against the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Charlotte Osei was heavily condemned. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP, Kennedy Agyapong has said during a mini rally at Asokwa in the Ashanti Region.
On Wednesday, the Electoral Commission filed a large number of documents containing information on voters who registered with National Health Insurance Scheme cards at the Registry of the Supreme Court (SC) in compliance with an order.

And some members of Parliament pushed for the summoning of Kennedy Agyapong to the Privileges Committee of Parliament for his unsavoury comments against the EC Chair.
Some two persons were arrested for hooting at President John Dramani Mahama.
