The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has earned applause from Keta Nursing and Midwifery Training College for his generosity towards the institution.
The auditorium of the College was ripped off by heavy rainstorm, and Vice President Bawumia responded to an appeal and personally fixed it for the school.
In a letter of appreciation, the College expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Bawumia for his prompt generosity to the school.
'I write on behalf of the Advisory Board, Principal, Stakeholders Association/PTA, Management, staff, the SRC and entire student body of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College-Keta to express our profound gratitude to you for your immense support in re-roofing the auditorium of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Keta which was ripped-off by a heavy rainstorm on 23rd April, 2024," wrote the Principal of the College.
"The College has benefitted a lot from the current government but your generosity and prompt attention given to the College when in dire need cannot be overemphasized."
"We believe that your generosity and having the well-being of Ghanaians at heart will pave the way for you to continue the good works you have started."
"Indeed your single-handed support in re-roofing and refurbishing the College auditorium on time before the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year begins in September, 2024 is really recognized with gratitude. You will forever remain in the history of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Keta."
