Ex Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah will have renowned Clergy man Rev Samuel Korankye Ankrah amongst high profile guests at his Testimonial match scheduled for June 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Ex Fenerbache and Juventus star has been paying courtesy calls on influential personalities to officially invite them to his fund-raising dinner and his testimonial match on June 26 and 27 at the State Banquet Hall and the Accra Sports Stadium respectively.
Appiah who announced his retirement from football earlier this year will be hosting an array of world football stars in a testimonial match being organized in his honor by Primeval Media.
Tornado Appiah was showered with praises by the Apostle General of the Royal House Chapel International Church when he officially invited him to the events.
“You gave almost 20 years of youthful life to the national team and made sure every Ghanaian benefitted from the immense gift that God gave you,” he said.
“I was able to find out your secret and they were humility, dedication, focus.
“When you set your mind to do something, you made sure you achieved your aims passionately.
“This nation must use this opportunity to make a statement to honor such a great personality and I can assure you that myself and my colleagues in the clergy are organizing ourselves for the events.”
