Meanwhile, another title contender, Berekum Chelsea failed to win their week 28 match in order to maintain their two-point gap. They drew 1-1 with Berekum Arsenal as they now share the top spot with Kotoko. Kotoko are placed first on the table because they have a better goal difference since the head-to-head rule cannot separate them. However, if both teams end up winning their last two matches, the organizers of the league will have to organize a special play-off to determine the winners of the league.
