Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Isaac Amoako is upbeat about the prospects of National team football after Milovan Rajevac handed him his first call up to the Black Stars.
Amoako has been in fine form for the Porcupine Warriors, keeping the goal post of the team for a greater part of last season.
There had been earlier calls for Amoako’s inclusion in the team, but the goalie was overlooked by the Serbian prompting questions about the coach’s selection criteria.
But the soft spoken goalkeeper, who joined Kotoko from Ashgold some four seasons ago, says he is pleased with the invitation.
“I feel so great and I think it is a dream come through because I have prayed for this chance to play for my national team and I believe God has answered my prayers,” he told Luv FM’s Delali Attiase in an interview.
