The second event; a vigil as part of the four-day state funeral in honour of the late Jerry John Rawlings took place at Air Force Officers Mess in Accra.
This event was preceded by a Requiem mass, a few hours ago at the Holy Spirit Cathedral.
The former statesman, will on Monday, January 25 and Tuesday, January 26, be laid in state at the Accra International Conference Centre for various interest groups and the entire citizenry to have an opportunity to pay their last respects.
