South African side Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed friendly matches with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak during their pre-season tour of Ghana.
The South African premier league side will embark on an eight-day training tour to Ghana in July to fine tune preparations to brace themselves of what they perceive to be an intense Premier Soccer League season ahead.
Sundowns communications coordinator Thulani Thuswa says they have settled on Asante Kotoko and Hearts but are waiting for a confirmation from the South African Football Association to sanction the pre-season games.
“Hearts and Kotoko are one of the toughest opponents and we really want to play them when we come to Ghana,” said Thuswa
"We really know about them but now we are waiting for SAFA to sanction the games."
Mamelodi Sundowns will be in Ghana for their pre-season from July 12 to 20.
